(1) I’m reading Side Red for the first time (loving it btw). And as I am watching Fushimi and Yata drift apart, there are so many moments where it’s so clear what’s wrong with Fushimi that I can’t help but marvel at the fact that Yata can’t see it at all. Even when he becomes faintly aware that there IS a distance growing, it never really occurs to him to wonder WHY. He just goes on living his life without really thinking about it (or thinking much at all-reacting yes but thinking? Not so much).
