Y’know, I’ve heard before that bis get more hate from both gays and straights cause we’re “undecided” or haven’t picked a side or something, but in all my years of being bi I’ve never ever received any of this kind of hate. I mean, clearly it exists somewhere, it exists in the screenshots above, but I’ve personally never seen it before from anyone I’ve met, whether gay or straight or anything else. Good for me I guess but I wonder where one finds these types of people and I wonder how actually common or uncommon it is compared to what I had heard before.
Rather than being offended by my bisexuality, about half the people I’m out too just reacted by telling me that bisexuality wasn’t real. Reactions from both straight and gay people were pretty consistent this way. The majority of the half that didn’t tell me bisexuality wasn’t real consisted of bisexuals, go figure.
