im practically twitching in frustration here. how is it that every adaptation of this scene is capable of making it clear that this was the night kiritsugu died EXCEPT the ufotable animes? just add this narration and we are golden!?

this scene (from the new hf manga chapter) is beautifully done and it just makes me frustrated that again, most people will only see the anime’s, who had two chances to animate this scene and failed to make its importance clear both times. I remember when ubw was reaching the climax of its second season and we had people still saying stuff like “i wonder if they will show us how kiritsugu died” because the show had been that ineffective in conveying this!

at this point the hf trilogy is kind of our last hope that ufotable will do this scene properly. and if they finally do it right, boy will it be something of a dark irony that only the darkest route where shirou breaks this promise to kiritsugu is also the only route where the scene acknowledges that kiritsugu died that night.

kurozu501: A personal favorite post heaven’s feel headcanon of mine is Sakura and Shirou accidentally turning the Emiya manor into an orphanage ha ha. they didn’t mean to do it!! it just. kind of happened. they just adopted their first child and loved them so much they ended up wanting another child. and another. 2… Continue reading

derpcakes: kurozu501: monstersqueen: tbqh i can’t stop thinking about post HF true end shirou and sakura adopting i’m not entirely sure either of their bodies is still capable of procreating after the trauma they went through in HF but they both have history with adoption? and they’re each others family and i’m pretty sure they… Continue reading

so everything about this scene was already wonderful, between shirou asking to use the castle for the night because he remembered something sakura very offhandedly mentioned wanting to do, ilya not just giving him permission and letting it end there but getting really really enthusiastic about setting the whole thing up, putting so much effort and passion into it and being super into it, supporting and encouraging both shirou and sakura when they get embarrassed and flustered and hesitant, and the fact that ilya basically chaperons both of them at once on their date, ilya and sakura getting along so wonderfully, and sakura tearing up from how happy she is…. and with all that i was already astounded how wonderful it was and couldn’t figure out my favorite thing about it-

-and then this here happened and made a perfect scene even better, and really, i’ll just leave this here and not say anything more because i think it speaks for itself quite well.

man you know it says a lot about a route and how much shit is going down when Gilgamesh is reduced to “that one servant I ate, I guess his name doesn’t matter”

oh my god i was just thinking about this post yesterday and here it is on my dash again this is so weird this is such an old post from when i was replaying fsn like… years ago

anyway this is convenient actually because i was specifically thinking about and wanted to say what a giant middle finger this is to gilgamesh like wow could this burn be any more sick??? could you make a more effective and brutal fuck you towards gil than eating him and forgetting who he is or what his name even is and going ‘eh nevermind who cares’??? and i’m really glad good job sakura you may have fucked up a lot of shit though it was not really your fault but you did real good here

Just the thought of how fucking indignant Gil would be to hear someone talk about him like that makes me so pleased i cant even begin to describe.
