I never see masses of whites trying to move into 3rd world nations and demand to be ‘natives’ or the government of that land hint at the same.
Lmfaoooooo
The first post here is truly facepalm-worthy but the situation isn’t really comparable to the examples which follow. The masses of whites moving places and deciding to be natives didn’t ask anyone anything, they declared, and displaced and dehumanized the previous inhabitants AT BEST. And in places where the locals weren’t crushed, they didn’t like it! They rejected it as an alien enemy action, and they frequently weren’t nice about it, because it was an invasion. A lot of racist xenophobes see themselves as facing an invasion.
The point we want to make is not “this invasion is okay because the invadees did invading before”. It’s “this isn’t an invasion”. It’s “don’t exclude people who want to join you” and “countries are not designated historical sites and cultures are not static museum exhibits, they are allowed to change, they have to change, and if you try to stop them from changing ugly things happen”. It’s “let’s try doing migration without displacement this time around – it’s a fairly rare thing for humans to manage, but we can talk to each other, we don’t need to repeat bad things we did before”.
Good point! And apologies to anyone affected by this- got so caught up in the one way in which the first post was astoundingly, gobsmackingly wrong that I failed to keep in mind the other way in which it was astoundingly, gobsmackingly wrong. Which was actually the more important of the two facts.
Protip: immigration and multiculturalism are not imperialism and invasion, and if you think they are, you should probably spend some time educating yourself. From reputable sources, please.
