Yes English-speaker player: you have played to Ace Attorney and have witnessed the pure Narumitsu feels during T&T. But you’ll never experience the absolute delightment of finally seeing those two dorks switch from “vous” to “tu” in the French version TwT  They actually did it in Justice for all, my bad :’D

Tadaaaa! It took me forever to upload it U__U” Enjoy 😀

okay! for non-french speakers, i’ll explain why this is important, and such a big part of the canon of miles’ and phoenix’s relationship.

in french, there are 2 ways to say you: vous, which is formal. you’d say it to a stranger, a teacher, someone above you in ranking or someone you don’t know well. then, there’s tu/toi, which is informal. you’d use this with family or friends, or lovers. someone you’re close to.

in the first and most of the second game, phoenix and miles use “vous,” known as “vousvoyer.” (i’m probably spelling it wrong, i’ve never seen it written) this shows that although there are very likely romantic feelings between the two, they aren’t very close yet. however, here, when they begin using tu/toi, known as “tutoiyer,” (spelling?) it shows they’ve grown much closer and more intimate. they’re friends, if not more.

It´s “vouvoyer” and “tutoyer” 😉 Thanks for the explanation, I forgot to write one when I posted the video!
