S1 saru picks up a book about lost friendship/betrayal & he sincerely thinks its relatable, the words are so beautiful to a point where he binges all the authors works. Pre ROK Saru & Yata are chasing the same strain & bump into each other the strain hits & Sarumi’s middleschool selves appear. Cause they ‘hate’ each other they try to seperate so they can go their own way but middleschool sarumi throwing a fit etc so current sarumi decide it’s too much trouble & to just hang out until the strains power wears off. Middle school saru is sad to see what happened to their friendship and asks current yata what happened and yata just gives this really sad smile

I love that Yata and Fushimi are friends again after ROK, but what if soon after that, a strain makes Seri and Izumo hostile towards each other like how Yata and Fushimi were during S1. They have to stop them from trying to kill the other one
